The Atlanta-based producer, Sonny Digital, opened up about his initial foray into the world of music production. He candidly admitted that his inspiration stemmed from the most basic of needs: running out of beats to rap on. With limited resources but unlimited zeal, Sonny took it upon himself to create new beats. What started as a way to fuel his own raps quickly transformed into a lifelong passion. "It was like something I just liked doing," he said.
Sonny spoke on the complexity of describing his sound, labeling himself as a "chameleon" in the industry. Unlike other producers who are identified by a unique sound, Sonny believes in the adaptability of his craft. He says this has its pros and cons.
